A story 

Basile the Eurasian jay, perched on his branch, alert, is on the lookout for the slightest sound. He is the sentinel of the forest, the one who warns its inhabitants of any intrusion under the canopy. 

He measures 22 cm x 7 cm (from the top of the head to the tip of the tail), and the wooden base measures 35.5 cm in length. 

A piece of fine craftsmanship 

Handcrafted in my Périgord workshop, this stained glass is fashioned using the Tiffany technique, from translucent and opalescent glass chosen for its richness of texture and light. Each element is assembled with copper, tin, and lead, according to traditional artisanal know-how. The wooden base is also made in my workshop. 

The glass may present fine streaks or small air bubbles: these are natural characteristics of its manufacture, which contribute to its charm.

Useful information 

For safety reasons during shipping, this stained glass will need to be assembled on its wooden base upon receipt; you will need to slide the rod into the hole provided for this purpose. 

As a precaution, and due to the presence of lead, it is advisable to wash your hands after handling.

Colors may vary slightly depending on the screen, exposure, or brightness.
