Augustine

A story 

Augustine is a little blue tit with ocean-colored plumage. She is a sapphire flying from oak to oak, like a treasure of which the forest is the guardian. 

She measures 16 cm from the tip of her beak to the end of her tail and 16 cm high, including the base. 

A piece of art craftsmanship 

Handcrafted in my Périgord studio, this stained glass piece is fashioned using the Tiffany technique, from translucent and semi-opalescent glass selected for its richness of texture and light. Each element is assembled with copper, tin, and lead, according to traditional artisanal expertise. The wooden base is also crafted in my studio. 

The glass may show fine streaks or small air bubbles: these are natural characteristics of its manufacturing, which constitute all its charm.

As a precaution and due to the presence of lead, it is recommended to wash your hands after handling.
