Lucette

A story

Lucette is that little blue tit that comes to perch on the vegetable garden stakes. She watches the gardener busy at work, and when he slips away, she swoops down on the caterpillars busy eating the cabbage leaves, promising an unparalleled snack. Lucette and the gardener share a story of symbiosis where each works in complete discretion.

Lucette measures 17 cm from the tip of her beak to the tip of her tail and is 17 cm tall, base included.

A piece of fine craftsmanship

Handcrafted in my Périgord studio, this stained glass piece is fashioned using the Tiffany technique, from translucent and semi-opalescent glass selected for its richness of texture and light. Each element is assembled with copper, tin, and lead, according to traditional artisanal know-how. The wooden base is also crafted in my studio.

The glass may feature fine streaks or small air bubbles: these are natural characteristics of its manufacturing that add to its charm.
