Perched on its oak branch, the tawny owl keeps watch.
Its plumage, displayed in shades of honey and amber, is composed of opalescent glass whose surface illuminates under the sun's rays. A discreet iridescent feather has slipped into its livery, like a secret.
Around it, the setting contrasts with its transparency: the moon is veiled in silvery reflections while autumn leaves set the scene ablaze with their amber hues. The crimson sky in the background evokes the final glow of twilight — that suspended moment when night comes to life.
With a diameter of 23.5 cm, this piece is designed for interior decoration. Depending on its placement, it diffuses golden or pinkish reflections, evoking the passage from day to night.
Handcrafted in my studio in the Périgord, The Guardian of Mysteries is fashioned using the Tiffany technique, from opalescent, translucent, and iridescent glass chosen for its richness of texture and light. Each element is assembled with copper, tin, and lead, according to artisanal expertise.
As a precaution, it is recommended to wash your hands after handling.
The glass may feature fine streaks or small air bubbles: these are natural characteristics of its manufacture, which contribute to its charm.
Colors may vary slightly depending on the screen, exposure, or lighting.
The hanging hook is not included but is available for purchase separately.
