The piece

In the light of the final days of summer, the colors seem to hold onto the sun’s warmth just a little longer.

Arc-en-Sol III composes a luminous arc around a sunflower, in a palette of amber, violet, purple, and blue.
The reflections of the glass transform natural light into a second presence; throughout the day, the colors shift and settle onto the surrounding surfaces.

A piece conceived as a celebration of summer and botanical light that, before fading, seems to want to linger a little longer.

Material & craftsmanship

Each stained glass piece is designed and handmade in my studio in the Périgord region, using the Tiffany technique.

The various glass pieces are individually cut and then assembled using copper foil and tin solder. The glass, chosen for its colors, transparency, and textures, reacts differently to light, giving the piece its variations.

The slight streaks, bubbles, or irregularities visible in some glass are inherent to their manufacturing and contribute to their character.

Good to know

Due to the presence of lead in the solder, it is recommended to wash your hands after handling.

Colors may appear slightly different depending on your screen and lighting conditions. The perception of the piece also naturally evolves according to its placement and the intensity of the light passing through it.
